Ideally, we need a 1200x1800 pixel image to get the best quality design. If you use a digital camera, set it to the highest resolution possible, for some cameras this would mean using the "fine" setting. Refer to your camera's manual for additional information. We may be able to use lower resolution photos on collage designs. If you need help choosing photos, you can e-mail us with all of the photos you were thinking of using and we can see which ones would work best.

When taking pictures, the light is probably one of the most important things. Try not to use the flash if possible, and try to get as much natural light in the picture as possible. Make sure the sun isn't blaring behind the back of your subject and pay attention to shadows if outdoors. Fluorescent lighting can be tricky and can cause skin tones to be yellowish or green. Try to avoid fluorescent lighting if possible.

When composing your shot, try to get close enough to the subject so that the main focus is your subject, not the background. Try different angles.

Your camera may have different modes that allow you to take photographs in either black and white or sepia. You don't have to worry about those options. We can convert them after you take them. That way if you decide you don't like the way the pictures look in those different modes, we can always go back to the original color. Also, don't worry about editing your own photos, we'll do all of that for you. If you were interested in some type of particular editing, please let us know. We always edit all photos before we use them.

Please e-mail your high resolution files to stacyscreations@hotmail.com if your photos are damaged or too small to work with, we will contact you. Once we receive your completed order form and photos, we'll work with you to create a beautiful creation you'll always cherish. If you have any other questions, you can always e-mail us. Thank you for your interest, and we look forward to working with you!
